Islami Bank SEO Case Study Summary

Problems

While Khan IT did work with Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC we primarily worked on brand promotion through their new banking app Cellfin. IBBPLC requested we do YouTube marketing with their videos on Cellfin and improve their brand image through this medium and these videos. We were given about three months for this task and show positive growth both in their YouTube channel and the Cellfin videos. We did an initial assessment and created custom YouTube marketing strategies for IBBPLC’s channel.

Initial Assessment and Strategy

Khan IT began by conducting a thorough audit of IBBPLC’s channel, identifying key areas for improvement. Based on the findings and additional research, we crafted a tailored strategy for SEO and YouTube marketing. Our goal was to boost IBBPLC’s online presence and achieve its objectives.

Implementation

  1. Channel Optimization: One of the first things we worked on once we started the project was optimizing IBBPLC’s channel. We implemented multiple strategies on the website channel to improve its condition and ranking.
  2. Video Optimization: While IBBPLC provided us with all their videos on Cellfin, we still optimized it in other ways to improve its ranking. For example, we improved the title and description of the video by including relevant and rankable keywords.
  3. Video Scheduling: Videos must be published at reasonable times to rank in time and get views from the target audience. By researching the best audience for IBBPLC, we found the best times for publishing and scheduled all the videos accordingly.
  4. Thumbnail Creation: A picture tells a thousand words; therefore, we created and attached the best thumbnails for every video we published. Each thumbnail had elements that would capture the audience’s attention and make them watch the video.

The Result

Khan IT significantly improved IBBPLC’s online visibility and brand performance through tailored SEO and YouTube marketing strategies. Despite the challenges, we demonstrated notable growth in online presence and brand image.
